21st at Greenwood
had my 21st birthday dinner last nite at Greenwood. i had a great time and i felt so much love from all around. It was a fantastic feeling having all the people i love be in the same room for once. I'm kinda sad that i couldn't invite everyone though cos tho we booked the whole restaurant we only had room for 60. oh well, some other time ya. Anyways i hope everyone had fun and i hope i mingled with everyone well enough, it was kinda stressful at first, havin to ensure that i made my rounds but eventually i just placed myself amongst the 2 tables of friends.
i was kinda surprised actually... i didnt expect a small prayer and worship session which was really touching to hear my good friend shaun singing. i think everyone felt a calm presence in the place actually. it was also nice to have a few people come up and say nice stuff about me. G really worried me at first but he kept his promise and was damn well behaved. Ann got saboed to go up and take the mic. haha. she was so nervous. but thanks guys! it was cool. And Tania was gracious enough to host the Benjamin Quiz where most of the questions about me were answered by my old friends. haha. and G, my fave colour is orange lah!
It was also nice having my Godma Jess fly back specially from Hong Kong and to see some friends i haven't met up in a long time like Dan (my travel buddy), Jerald, who was also there at my 12th birthday which was 9 yrs ago. haha and Miss Lorraine Lai who still cracks me up as usual. I was just overwhelmed by everything i sorta forgot to give my speech!!! darn it. but this will be one of the nites i will never ever forget. thanks mum & dad for a great party and thanks everyone for bein a part of my life. i love u all!
