midnite crisis
BenBlackhey. today has been a cool day. until now. will tell u why later.
went for lunch with gordon then we went to the arcade to play. gosh, i think its been ages since i last played arcade games. kinda sad. i had no childhood actually, didnt really go thru the whole gaming phase in my life. felt like a complete kiddo just now anxiously navigating the joystick (correct rite?)...lost my first round of virtuatennis 3 to g but then at my second attempt i kicked ass ok! then i played against the com and managed to stretch my $1 try to about 15min...pretty decent for a newbie eh?...its cool to be able to lose yourself once in a while and do kiddy stuff...
after that tang and fobs joined us for X Men 3. another loser confession from me: i didnt watch 1 & 2 and i dont know shit bout X Men..i even asked tang how come there wasnt green goblin in the show...oops. but it was a great movie. really enjoyed it cos im really easy to please when it comes to movies. surprisingly i found some parts really touching...like when the professor died it was really sad cos he died with integrity while trying to fight for what he believed in. and the part where wolverine had to kill jean who he loved alot...gotta do some catching up by watching the first 2 parts...
now...its havoc. busy talking on the phone with yuey and his mum to settle the domestic flights within australia cos the promo ends in a few minutes (midnite aussie time)..and my fucking cb phone keeps dying halfway during the convo for no fucking reason so they have to keep calling me. sorry guys., fucking nokia...wow. theres alot of planning involved in a simple road trip like that. we kinda sat on the trip and didnt do much serious planning but time is running out...thanks to yuey's mum for taking the initiative and helping us, appreciate it............i'm waiting for more responses from hotels and inns regarding the room rates, hopefully i can settle everything by mid next week then we're good to go...i'm sure when we get there its gonna be a blast and everything will work out eventually. even if we stay at shitholes or dont go to all the expensive overrated touristy places, ultimately its the company and fellowship thats most important..hell we could even stay on a freaking farm with sheeps and cows for the whole 2 weeks and im sure we could create our own fun too...but it'd be nice if money wasnt a limiting factor at all man...shucks..nvm, next time when we're all rich and successful we can go on trips taking first class with limo services etc...
ok i better get back to planning the trip. cheers.
