i heard it through the grapevine...
DJ YUEYjust got back from singapore yesterday. was over there for 9 days. miss dat place. both adelaide and singapore have their pros and cons...
overall was a good trip, but it was hard to FULLY enjoy cuz i was always thinking about uni in the back of my mind. ended up missing tiesto, cuz of some unforeseen shit dat happened. so yeah...dat sucked. jus spent da week chillin, meeting up wit frens, drinking and trying to study. learnt some stuff abt certain ppl dat i didnt know before.. disappointing? yes. surprising?...hmm.
was great to get back into a routine in singapore..if only for a week. felt like i was living there again, albeit without having to go to work. i did go to camp for one day tho...and whoa..things r different now. only 2 months later! the office has moved and half the ppl have been replaced with new guys. its lost da old, fun atmosphere. looks like i got out at da right time then! to chin - i know ur reading this: u were lucky i was rusty wen we played squash. im going to annihilate u next time u hear?? had da usual soccer on sat morning which ive been missing, but i missed da full pitch game yesterday. damn, love playing fulll pitch. zouk was fun...but pre-drinks at club yuey got a little out of hand. all da guys were wrestling and ive busted my calf and my back. it still bloody hurts from 2 days ago. and my coffee table broke. refer to frenster to see da carnage. oh, and i still have bite marks from...11 days ago!!! haha.
ann was supposed to make pasta but pfft...da 'master chef' struggled to open a can! haha. so me and ben black took over da cooking reins. all was goin well, wit da red wine in da sauce and all, until ben decided to POUR SALT into da mix. yup, he didnt take a pinch of salt, he poured it in. and it ended up tasting like a salty bollocks. YUCK. oh well, lessons for next time. and im not even gonna comment on da fried salt fish..
i started a red wine addiction in adelaide, but it got out of hand in singapore. was drinking red wine all da time. and i dun even kno wats good and wats bad wine. jus drink..woohoo. da latest club yuey cocktail - red wine, heineken and peach vodka. its fucking deadly, but aldrich seems to like it. maybe dats y he went home at 12+. haha. was weird to see all da penfolds labels in singapore on da wine bottles...then i come back to adelaide and i drive by penfolds every day.
met up wit most of da others as well....lester..cheryl and co. etc.. unfortunately didnt have time to see my bro laurence cuz i overslept after zouk...and amir..next time my padawan. lester and lin colored my hair dark, dark brown. so dark no one notices. also colored my face and neck as well so i was walkin around for 2 days wit brown blotches all over my head. woohoo im havin visitors in adelaide soon. bryan and cheryl comin down in may or june...then in july da bananas crew is comin down for a road trip! yippe ki-yay mother f&#kers!!! but actually dats a last resort. wd rather US or europe in july. blah.
saw my grandma whos not doin too well. still in hospital wit a lung infection...but its stabilizing...ben u can pray for her..
now back in adelaide, time ot knuckle down. got two tests and two assigments due very soon. an di just missed a double law lecture. FUCK! thought it was at 2pm but it was at 10am. so dang..more catching up to do i suppose.
