TOP 10 THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT BEN BLACK

all these top 10 on loco have inspired me to do a top 10 here on bananas! of course, i am a very boring person with nothing interesting to share whereas ben has tons of dirty lil' secrets dat r bursting to come out of da closet! so here it is: top ten things you didn't know about BEN BLACK!!!
1. ben really is from pakistan. he was born in karachi in 1983 and moved to singapore in 1985.
2. he was born Benjamin Black, but changed his surname to Wong at a young age. recently tho, he's got back in touch with his roots and reverted to his original name of Ben Black.
3. ben once ran for president of the United States of America. check the bananas archives (feb 9th 2006) for proof!
4. ben has been playing the bagpipes since age 8.
5. ben is one of singapore's top tutors. as a result, he earns about $7000 per week from tutoring alone! this is not including income from shares and property.
6. ben met mandy moore in 2001.
way to go ben. she's hot!
7. the phrase, 'eh dun la...please la', was not actually coined by ben black. it was the work of Acktar Surav, a great pakistani poet from the 17th century.
8. ben is a closet MJ fan.
9. ben is a distant relative of serena williams. its very distant, but the link IS there.
