jus cruisin
DJ YUEYhmm..where to start? been such a busy week..as usual. life jus reli doesn't let up does it? i thought it was full on in da army and wen i got back to australia itd be all relaxed and chilled... i was wrong. adelaide's deceptive small town atmosphere hides the fact that u still have to work bloody hard to get anywhere.
im getting sick of law. the amount of reading required is just insane to be honest. u can pass or get a credit by doin half the work i suppose...but to get a distinction or HD it reli is gonna take a LOT of work. i spent 2 days reading and highliting my text and thought i did a pretty good job getting through about 60% of it. the next morning i go to my seminar and there r 3 geeky chicks who have completed the reading for the next TWO WEEKS. WTF??!!! get a life!!! how am i supposed to keep up with that?! blah. im also sorta lost in accounting and info systems. luckily micoreconomics is pretty easy and i did most of it in high school...anyway it feels like there r no weekends anymore cuz u have to work on weekends to catch up..
today jus had the one class which was good. went to town wit wai yan for lunch then met up wit fenton. we got this fantastic ps2 game yesterday called 'the great british football quiz' which is awesome! u guys in singapore shd def try to hunt it down. i can imagine some tournamets in da office! went over to shauns where da 3 of us went head to head in football trivia questions. i came out on top..obviously. ho ho ho. dun mess wit my football trivia knowledge or ull get burnt! oh...completely unrelated but awesome anyway. at da big CD store where we picked up da ps2 game..they were jamming MICHAEL JACKSON! good to see da public is back focusing on da music and not his private life. he's coming back fellas and he's gonna be H U G E ! !. apparently kanye west is producing da new album. can u imagine how smokin da joints will be? ho ho ho
today was my darling wai yans bday and we went up for dinner at windy point. WOW. what a view! windy point is this restaurant on a mountain top whch overlooks da whole of adelaide. da view at night is awesome and da food wasn't bad either. da fresh oysters for da entree were fuckin fantastic! driving down da mountain at nite was sorta freaky tho. it feels like i jus got my license..having not driven much in da last 2 years..so it was slightly unnerving to be driving down in pitch black with a long drop to the left jus metres away. HAPPY BIRTHDAY gorgeous! even tho ive said it like a gajillion times today already ill say it again here jus in case u weren't listening;).
speaking of driving...damn it feels good to be driving reglarly again. da civic is a blast to drive. there r few pleasures greater than dropping into second gear and sliding round a tight corner! heh. well..i dun reli SLIDE like in daytona but u kno wat i mean yeah. jus dropped off waiyan (at like 2am adelaide time) and da roads were completely empty so was able to speed a bit which is truly gratifying.
damn i went for a haircut on wed and its so F- short. da hairdresser didn't warn me she was gonna cut it dat short. i even told her i wanna keep da length! uh! idiot. at leats its got some style now tho so wen it grows back it shd b alrite. but...geez...readers of this shd kno how i feel abt short hair. cant look in d mirror.
ok well dats abt all for now. hey ann i reli miss zouk!!! i wanna go for marco v!! argh...oh well. till next time guys...
