DJ YUEYbeen back in adelaide for a day now..and it feels soooo weird. everything seems smaller..quieter than before. everything is the SAME as it was 2 years ago...but my perspective has changed... my room..bloody hell. its TINY!!!! i guess im too used to being a brat and having my own apartment. its gonna take a while to settle here...right now it feels like im on holiday living out of a suitcase. i dun even have a wardrobe to put my clothes...of which there are a lot. i dun have a cell phone line...the internet connection is 56k (fuck its slow), there is no mrt, no cabs..i dun have a car yet. it feels like im in jail. hate havin to rely on ppl picking me up...wai yan has sorta become my driver... looked at da trading post today tho. shd b gettin a car soon. lookin at a 2nd hand lancer or prelude.. keith..they have cheap suzuki swift sport also..haha..old model tho. hopefully i can move out sooner rather than later. nothin against my dad, but im used to independence...
there are positives tho. dun need to decide wat to have for dinner everyday...cuz my dad and his fren whos stayin wit us cook. my dads cookin aint too hot but his fren is an awesome chef! i can smell da yiros he's making tonite rite now..mmmm... also..there is hot water here...haha..which i didn't have at club yuey for a few months.
obviously the biggest positive has been being re-united with wai yanN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it still hasn't sunk in that i can see her everyday...for 2 years shes sorta become this semi-stranger...a comforting voice on the other end of the receiver..actually we sorta felt like strangers yesterday,..haha...but im sure it will b back to normal soon...love u so much darling! shes been so understanding the past few days..putting up wit my mood swings and..err...general moodiness. its nice to have a girlfriend again...heh
goin to university 4 da first time 2moro. im sorta excited but most of me is saying CBF. fuck studying...i need a break. im gonna bludge my way thru first semester..luckily ive done most of first year law in school already so it wil jus b a bit of revision. 2m theres a huge uni party. i cant b bothered goin but ill have to..ya know...gotta keep up wit da jones'. its $30 2m nite for unlimited beer on campus..woohoo!! sorta put a spanner in da 'cut down on alcohol and live healthy' lifestyle im tryin to adopt but hey...a mans gotta do wat a mans gotta do. shd b catching up wit everyone 2m. was supposed to go to shauns house last nite to catch up wit everyone but wy wasn't too keen.. lookin fwd 2 seeing jess, shaun, eddy and karlie especially.
thanks to everyone dat came down to my place and/or da airport on monday. i wasn't reli dat sad da whole way..but afta goin in da departure gate and walkin into da plane..i was SORTA choking up. heh. will miss everyone... applied for nus hopefully i get a place then we'll c wat happens. poon dat was a wicked idea 2 get da bottles signed by everyone! unfortunately i forgot to get gordon and ann 2 sign at da airport. cpt darren and ben prayed for me which was nice..
i sorta feel lost cuz i didn't bring back any turntables OR vinyls! last minute at da airport realized da vinuls were jus too damn inconvenient to bring back so will get em shipped here. in da meantime ill have to get a job and save up for some new turns..gave da old ones to my bro for his bday. spinnin some music rite now would go a long way to keeping my sanity. also didn't bring back da xbox360..was a bit too heavy. next time..
