its all over!!
DJ YUEYATP is over!!! woohoo. my last significant event in army (for now) is finally over. its just a pity i screwed it up tho. over thurs and fri it rained a lot and there were a lot of delays too. first day i shot ok. zeroed my weapon ok (thats like calibration) but i kept on getting these problems with loadng my M-16. the rounds wouldn't load properly. second day was the test. the practice session went smoothly in the morning...hit 11/16 which is decent. but when the test started in the afternoon my rounds wouldn't load on the very first shot! and the targets are timed. each one comes up for 4 seconds then snaps down. so i blew da first set of 4 fixing the loading error. hold on, actually i think i hit da last one. but yeah. da first set is da easy set in an easy shooting position so i should have hit at least 3 and probably 4 out of 4. piece of crap. so yeah...wasted da first magazine. panicked a bit but managed to load da next mag ready for da next set of 4. and that basically screwed up my shoot. after missing da first set of 4 i was under pressure to hit most of da remaining targets to pass. u need 8/16 to pass. anyway i was nervous as hell but luckily managed to hit 8 out of da remaining 12 to just scrape through. which was a surprise cuz i usually suck hardcore at da proning and squatting position shoots! at night i just screwed up tho. no excuses. hit da first 5 then missed 7 in a row. fuck! so overall i failed. with 13/28 blah. stupid loading shit. would have passed if it didn't screw up da very first mag. oh well..shit happens. at least its over!
well i think im gonna get my deferment! adelaide uni put together some package so i can officially do only law first...but with a lot of commerce modules. then next year ill apply for commerce separately and do it at da same time and in 5.5 years ill have both degrees! woohoo. manage to get around da screwed up SAF system. ha ha ha!! SUCKEERRRSSSSSS. only some paperwork left to be finalized and it looks like ill be leaving on feb 13th... mixed feelings. its such a relief to get out of army but i reli dont want to leave singapore! im gonna miss da food..da culture...town...zouk...da people..everything..even club yuey reli feels like my home now and i dont wanna go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dang. ann, dun b too upset abt staying in singapore if u dont go 2 da UK cuz its not so bad! looking fwd to uni life tho i guess. i need some time to slack and not feel pressure. army jus drags u down. like if ur late u get fucked. if ur hair is long u get fucked. if u dun shave u get fucked. i mean fuck this shit seriously! but ill miss it in some strange way. at least its security i guess. u dun have to make any decisions for urself and u KNOW wat u'll b doin everyday. stability..remember? blah.. back to normal life..woohoo!! cant wait to grow my hair! had 2 years of depressing short hair. those who kno me will kno i have a few eccentricities and obsessions. one is my hair. dunno why reli. but da last 2 years have been shit cuz i had to keep reli short hair and ive hated every second of it! and i get to see wai yan! and she gets to see me! and hopefully she will be a bit happier..
tonite got stephs birthday party...bbq at pandan valley..dang i need to go get her a present but i have no idea wat! im a bit disappointed in myself. i wd have thot i wd kno her well enough to think of a present but i cant think of anything. bollocks! blha.. ill miss steph wen she goes again! meetin g later in town to get it and we'll have to think of sth. dave seaman is at zouk so might hit dat afterwards. and on monday..ROGER SANCHEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO looking fwd 2 dat. he put on a great show last may and i hope its more of da same. i remember last time me and chin were right at da front goin nuts. woohoo! - dj yuey
