ben's right..this verse from the bible (proverbs 4 and 5 i think) is my favourite:

"For the lips of a forbidden woman drip honey,and her speech is smoother than oil,but in the end she is bitter as wormwood,sharp as a two-edged sword.Her feet go down to death;her steps follow the path to Sheol;she does not ponder the path of life;her ways wander, and she does not know it."

but i think he's interpreted it wrongly... the way i see it its more of a warning against committing adultery, not reli a message to appreciate ur wife or loved one...altho i suppose its indirectly implying that as well. its basically saying that forbidden women can be seductive but u shd resist them as they just mean trouble. the verse refers to the sweet taste of her lips ('the lips of a forbidden woman drip honey') and her smooth-talking ways ('her speech is smoother than oil'), but then warns against her wandering ways (her ways wander, and she does not know it'). and its 100% true! women can make men commit the worse sins..and they can be seductive..sometimes u just get tempted when u shouldn't! heh. oh well. such is human nature...thats why we need verses like this to remind us eh?

anyway today was pretty chilled...went down to holland v for 'lunch' wit lester and steph...but in the end i wasn't that hungry so i had a nutrition packed oreo ice cream cake!! OMG it was so fucking good!!! had a late xmas gift exchange...steph got me and lester these wicked RC cars complete with customizable no. plates! woohoo. they rocked. a big thank you steph! man...toys r easily da coolest gifts. they come in big boxes and opening them i jus so much more fun than clothes or CDs or wateva. we had BIG plans to go racing but unfortunately they run on da same frequency so when they are next to each other ummm...both controls control both...so racing is kinda impossible! oh well...they r still great..haha. i was so pumped to get driving but steph got da wrong batteries hahahahahahah. oh well its da thought dat counts babe:)

after dat went down to orchard to meet adeline, dave, mei qi and daves fren from adelaide whose name i neva got... they were at swensons and i felt like puking jus lookin at da food cuz i jus had ice cream cake!! finally got some batteries for da cars so me and lester were drivin them down orchard road hahaahahahah got a few weird stares but meh they were jus jealous. after that it was cine...where steph, mei qi and adeline had dinner then coffee club...(quite how i went from NYDC to swensens to the cine food court to coffee club is beyond me..). continued playing wit da cars in coffee club and they probably werent too pleased!

man i need to start DJing soon...haven't spun for about 2 weeks and i reli miss it! need to get some ear plugs tho...my ears were getting busted from the constant bass nad loud noises. hrm...

on leave tomorrow...yay. gotta go to CMPB and deliver all my deferrment papers..i heard that someone had deferment rejected because 5 years was too long to disrupt. well mine is like 5.5 years! so im thinking i might get rejected??!!! hmmm i dunno. ill be happy to stay here if it gets rejected but it WILL make things a lot more complicated...and ill miss waiyan..and she'll miss me (i HOPE) so that will suck too. oh well...lets see what happens tomorrow!
