the first one
DJ YUEY
its now 2006! a brand new year. and i have many goals and resolutions in no particular order..:
1. Leave the army and grow my hair back to a decent length
2. stop partying so much...sleep more and live healthy
3. play more tennis / get back to jogging on a regular basis
4. DJ a lot more. learn some music production...produce some of my own tracks..also get some DJ earplugs so i dont go deaf
5. adapt back to life as a student.. study a lot and get high Ds in all my subjects at uni..ho ho ho
thats all i can think of right now..im sure there r plenty more..
well last night was a fun night..not quite the huge ass party that i had envisioned but all good. NEXXXT year! went down to snappers at the ritz carlton for a family dinner which was boring as all hell but made up for by the excellent food and generous amounts of alcohol. there were 6 courses and each course was accompanied by a different wine. plus moet. so 6 wines and 2 moets were enough to get me pretty juiced up!! but geez...these types of restaurants man..the profit margin must be so huge. one course they used a freakin large dinner plate and in the middle was one little pile of cavier and a tiny bit of egg. which u could literally eat in half a bite. god knows how much it cost! after the success of the whistles i took from the hilton last week this time i scored a whole bag of party hats, visors and party blowers but i foolishly left them in the cab on the way to clarke quay. BOLLOCKS!!!!!
i feel reli bad cuz da whole time i was at dinner my frens were Qing at MoS! sori guys...i promise i will join u guys in da q wen i dun have these dinners to go to.. gordon, steph, aldrich, ben, jarrod, adeline, mei qi and dave patiently waited like 2 hours and didn't even get in. fuck MoS man. i heard from my aunt that they pruposely hold back da Q jus to create da impression its fucking busy. anyways..yeah..so when i got to clarke quay there was no way we were gonna get in and we had an hour until countdown! stress! steph had a couple of VIP passes but not enough for all of us to go in. so yeah...we had an hour to work out where to go!
thanks to ann for bailing us out!! u sorta saved our night...haha. can always rely on a crazy party girl to save it eh? anyway ann managed to hook us up with some tickets to dat RnB party at ngee ann city. went over there and immediately regretted it cuz outisde along orchard it was SO DAMN PACKED!!! and these random bitches kept on spraying this disgusting smelling foamy shit all over us as we made our way through the crowd. anyway after all the hassle of organizing this we managed to get into the party about 30 seconds before countdown! woohooo!!!! mission accomplished! and everyone was happy..haha. nowadays im def. into house a lot more than RnB...but the music was awesome..koflow was awesome..and it was all good. afterwards ann, cheryl, jicheng, derek and some other dudes came down too.
most of us wanted to stay but steph wanted to go back to MoS cuz she organised the whole nite and abandoned her frens who already got in to go to ngee ann city. so we left around 2+ and went back to MoS only to find her frens left already! so yeah..wasted..at that point we didn't reli feel like goin in altho now i think abt it...shd have gone in!! dang. dave went in to meet some of his frens...poor guy needs to club as much as possible in singapore cuz in canada the legal age is 19 and he's only 18..hahahahaahahah.... oh well...next week! so the rest of us hung around clarke quay deciding what to do for the longest time and eventually we decided the best course of action was to go home cuz we were all buggered. me, jarrod and ben went for supper at 7-11...haha.
well yeah not such a hot nite in terms of the party but its the company that counts so all good..it was still fun! i cant believe we ended up at ngee ann city tho...lol. danny tenaglia was at zouk for f- sake! then this morning i hear from my bro it was awesome and he stayed until 7am..they were spinning until 10am! argh...next year thats it im goin to zouk. haven't been there for so long. everyone is caught up in the MoS craze but for me zouk is still the one and only...roger sanchez comin next month..wicked..
