club yuey may stay open after all!
FUCK! today i went down to CPC and my deferment got rejected! well not yet...but they told me they expect my deferment to get rejected. they have this rule where you can't defer for more than 4 years if ur doin a double degree...but you CAN if ur doin a single degree. like..WTF??!?!?!? im doing law /commerce which is 5.5 years and its not allowed. whereas law in the UK..which is 5 years...IS allowed. and med which is 7 years IS allowed?! fucking stupid system man. i spent ages at the CPC offices asking them WHY the system was like this and the rationale behind it but they couldn't give me an answer. fools. the women there were so freakin dense. like i was asking 'why is it you can defer 7 years for med and not 5.5 years for law /commerce. i understand there is a policy but whats the reason?' and she kept on saying ' i told you already, because its not allowed'. HELLO WOMAN ANSWER THE BLOODY QUESTION!!!! blah.
anyway...the full impact of this hasn't reli sunk in yet. ive 4 options. a) stay here until may then start uni in sem 2 in july. b) drop commerce and just do law. c) stay here until may..slack for 8 months then start feb 07. (bad option as ill be about 56 by the time i graduate) and d) apply for NUS..hope i get in and study here! ahh..dunno what to do. i had already prepared myself to go back..now im probably gonna be here another 5 months. its GOOD in a lot of ways. i love it here...its a blast. and my frens r great..was gonna miss them when i left. BUT i was reli looking fwd to leaving army. had it with that organisation. was gonna clear leave this month and not be in camp much but if i stay until may then im screwed...5 months more of crap. the biggest worry tho is how to tell wai yan! i haven't yet..and i dont know how to. hopefully you dun read dis blog babe.. and i was RELI looking fwd to seeing her again...miss her so much...its been a long 2 years and now theres another 3 months extra to wait...meh..sucks man. will think about it over the coming days.
today saw wallace and gromit wit ben, steph and mei qi. awesome film! da story was rubbish as expected but da claymation was great. aw gromit was so damn cute! haha. love wallace and gromit..used to watch wen i saw a kid. love it. love it! hehe. met up wit adeline and dave after for some KFC then me and ben headed down to ghim moh for thye ren's granddads wake....yeah..unfortunately he passed away a few days ago. best wishes to u an da family thye ren! even tho i didn't kno da guy i felt so sad there... but he looked a good bloke in da pic and im sure he had avery fulfilling life. saw ann's fren derek at da wake which was a big surprise. man..singapore is SUCH a small place. me and ben had to rush off to get haircuts...haven' t been to work for 4 days and let my hair grow damn long. u can see da results in da pic below!
im on da left and ben is on da right for those who didn't know. i was pretty unhappy with my cut, but ben loved his! i think they got it jus right..it reli accentuates his features perfectly.
tomorrow have to go to work...dang..i hate work! hopefully some miracle happens and my deferment goes through. i mean i reli wanna stay here but in my head i prepared for it already. army for 5 months more is a BIG turn off! blah..oh well..gotta sleep. so much to think about...life is jus too packed these days. i wanna go back to my childhood..jus playing playstation all day in between school which was piss easy and mostly fun! now THATS da life...
